Exceptional cuisine transplanted in an eclectic 50's style decor, where locals meet and enjoy comfort food and have time for meaningful conversation. I highly recommend this hidden GB gem.

This place is consistently rewarding. The varying, interesting menu and excellent food keep me coming back. Quaint and comfortable atmosphere lend a friendly touch to the experience. Love the mismatched water glasses that are automatically provided with every order. Go in and partake of a fresh and delicious meal.

We came in on a whim on a Friday morning, after hearing this place suggested through Facebook by a friend. We ordered mimosas and breakfast, and couldn't have been more blown away. The mimosas are large and come with your own separate mini-bottle of bubbly, all of the food is locally sourced and is cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are hardy, and the owner was welcoming and attentive. This will absolutely be a regular spot for us!

I have never had a bad experience or meal here. Today i had their special, eggs Benedict with pesto and tomatoes and fresh cheese. It was incredible. The owner recognized me as usual and asked me how i had been and the staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy themselves and their work day which speaks volumes about the owner and the work environment she provides for her employees. It truly is an incredible place.

Quaint little restaurant with great food and service! Not the best for large parties since they only have around 10 total tables plus bar seating but once you sit down it's excellent! The atmosphere is cute and homey with bookshelves and a piano. We tried the Baja Benedict, the Hungarian mushroom soup, and the banana bread french toast and they were all delicious! One thing to note is that they do not serve alcohol before 12pm.

The food is amazing, the staff very friendly. Michigan sourced foods, raw sugar cubes for coffee. A little cramped, but a down home feel. All in all we were very satisfied with our breakfast, it was our first time there. We wanted to try some place new, and my Wife said "good choice"

I *really* wanted to love this restaurant. I waited a really long to time to go, after reading lots of rave reviews. Unfortunately, on the day I went, the soda machine wasn't working and they didn't have alternative sweeteners for tea (obviously a big concern if you have health issues that prevent you from consuming sugar; sugar in the raw cubes being the only sweetener they had available.) The sandwich I ordered had very little turkey, and the horseradish sauce was virtually undetectable. It was also missing the peppers listed on the menu. My husband's sandwich was much better, which earned it it's 3 stars.

The Grafted Root Eatery is a perfect little hidden gem in Grand Blanc. You’ll have exceptional service from the waitstaff. The interior of the restaurant is quaint and cozy. All of the food is prepared fresh and several ingredients are secured from Michigan producers. I had the tomato soup today with a garden salad and it was savory and succulent. The soup wasn’t out of a can, you could taste fresh tomatoes. Bravo! We also ordered an apple tart that was divine. The crust on the apple tart was my favourite by far. If you want breakfast, I would suggest that you arrive early on the weekend as the restaurant fills up quickly with Grand Blanc locals. There are also games to play during your wait and a book club that meets at this establishment. It’s not the sort of place for children in my opinion. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Good atmosphere, good beer, great food, fruits and vegetables local, fair pricing, staff was friendly, intimate seating.. B&B vibe. Definitely recommend for a one on one date. No air conditioning, but it fits the narrative. Food was worth the sweat. Seriously. Food was local and great.Worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

We were there for the first time on 10/26/19. It was very busy. After waiting a while, I went to the "counter" and asked the process for ordering ... thinking maybe we were supposed to order before sitting down. The lady then came right away and took our drink order. She was very nice and helpful; but, for a sandwich place, we felt we waited too long to be waited on and too long for our order. The sandwiches are delicious ... wholesome fresh ingredients ... satisfying quantity .... prepared well. Considering the price of a sandwich, we were disappointed that they served ruffled potato chips on the side. Fruit or raw veggies would have made it a healthier experience and a good value.

Really a interesting place. All the decor down to the silverware are all different and of a earlier time. The food is quite good, organic. A better choice to go when you get a chance. You can taste the difference between organic and non organic food. Employees are very nice. The place is a bit small but it’s worth the wait.

Great cozy little place! Food was fabulous, but expensive. I love that they use local meat (John Henry's). I wouldn't say it is child friendly however, as there was no children's menu and I think the " crowd" prefers a quiet quaint atmosphere. We will be back to try something new on the menu!

My first visit, the ambiance of the space is cozy and homey. The service is great and the owner seemed genuinely interested in pleasing the customers. I ordered the goat and two other cheeses sandwich w/bacon with the house salad and coffee with cream/honey. The food was delicious, however, I consider it a little pricey. My lunch was $24 before my tip. I appreciate good quality food and expect to pay for it, that being said a $30 dollar lunch for One is out of the daily routine for me.
